You most surely do NOT wanna burn any bridges. But you also don't owe them your life. They may even counter offer. You be upfront with them, I'm sure there will be no hard feelings. It's not all about money. It sounds like B satisfys your brain, and creative side. That is important. Loving what you do, has worth, at times, more so than a dollar. Good luck. n8ball2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 you have nothing in stone with company b. take the interview. worst comes to worst you dont get an offer and dont have to worry about it. if you do get the offer explain to company a that you received an offer that is much more beneficial to you financially. Dont say a better company or anyhting like that. just for personal reasons it works better. like kyle said they may counter offer. they may let you go. if you do leave give your two weeks notice or or what ever is required of you. I guess the hard part will be to convey the message to company A that I would rather work with company B. make sure you actually have a job with Company B BEFORE telling company A you are turning down their offer... until they officially offer you the job you don't have any guarantees with company B you don't want to commit to company B and they haven't committed to you yet and then they decide to go with someone else and then you've already turned down Company A and you are back to being without either job. Thanks I was pretty excited about the alt myself. kind of like a school girl, in a dress, on a swing. lol It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out. No they'd say you were terminated for poor performance or conduct or something like that. play the game I don't even start until the semester ends, I haven't even signed papers yet or stated when I am available to start. So like you said, nothing is set in stone. The only form of confirmation is an email accepting the offer and a phone call confirming that offer.
