HELP WITH AMP FOR 4 SA 12s

I have 2 sa 12s and am getting 2 more in my 2000 blazer.....dont wanna get a high end amp just yet but was wondering if i should run 2 amps or 1? right now i have a hifonics 1500 and it slams nut want something different. 2 amps or 1?? help please

if your subs are d4 and u buy d4 two amps can get you to 1ohm per amp or 1amp at .5 or 2ohm

You can get an AQ2200, then if its not enough, grab another AQ2200 later down the road.

they are d4s but when i get the other 2 i can get the d4s or d2s and they will trade my d4s for d2s. so what will be the best route to go? and what brand is the aq2200???

Aq 3500 for 4 SA 12's... With properly set gain.

Technically they only should get 2400 rms....... But that's what I'd pick. Remember you can always turn the gain lower

thanks. its a little more than i wanted to spend but from what i read seems like it will do the job. i was leaning toward 2 soundstream 2500 rubicons but now i might get one of those instead

1 amp might be easier... No gain matching or strapping hassles.....

You tell us.... I just said I'd go with a 3500 rms amp and I'd go single amp for ease of set up
