skittlesRgood
Wire the subs in series for the higher ohm load until after you move and get more batteries in. If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood. CommonSyns
I have a friend who's running 4 Hifonics BXI 1608's on 2 220 amps alts, but 1 single Duralast gold, he told me he drops into the 10's at full tilt, despite the fact he has the amperage to support the power, but not the battery bank. So alone the H.O alternator and 2 battery is not good enough? I should probably get a battery bank, I don't feel like blowing my new equipment. At Least 2. 3-4 would be ideal depending on the battery. If you had very large good brand batteries you could get away with 2. I was planning on getting 2-3 of these batteries. Deka Intimidator 9A34M AGM Battery Wire the subs in series for the higher ohm load until after you move and get more batteries in. I'm getting the D1 voice coils for the ZVX's. In series it becomes a 4 ohm load, and the 4500.1 is 1500 @ 4 ohms. Is that okay? I was told once that you can blow subwoofers if you under power them to much. And 1500 divided by 2 I think is 750 going to each sub. skittlesRgood
lol nooooooo... less power = less heat. the only reason people blow speakers is because their crappy little amp sucks so much that they turn the gain up sending a clipped signal to the subs. THAT's what blows the subs, retarded users. If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. skittlesRgood
it would be easier to blow your subs with more power then less. I can help you safely set your gains until you get a dd1 if you want. shoot me a pm if you do. If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. Swordlordboy1234
Batteries are your friend in this hobby. 21 batteries with 1 alt could out perform 8 of the same batteries on 4 of the same alternator.
