codyta94 Posted February 6, 2013 Report Posted February 6, 2013 I just bought a 2008 silverado 4 door crew cab. I am wanting to build a system that will sound great. I am wanting to put Polk audio db 6501 components in the front doors and put the tweeters that come with them in the pillars. What kind of speakers should I put in the back doors? I am also going to add 2 10 inch subs under the back seats. Should I run amps to the speakers or no? I have a jvc kw av 70 bt head unit. I listen to hip hop and rap mainly. And advice will help. I just want a good sounding system

Definately get some amps, and read a ton of info on here before you get anything. these guys know there shit and the learning process never ends, there are many differnt kinds of systems so figure out what kind you want. Good luck and if i can help i will, as much as i can.
