ColumbusJBR Posted February 16, 2013 Author Report Posted February 16, 2013 Lol, I think a .50/500 might be just a tad too much for a newbie. I thought he said he had shot a few times before he did say he was looking into a .45 right? it's not THAT big a stretch from .45 to .50... it's only .05 hehe (just make sure you don't leave your head in direct line with the cannon you'll be ok lmao) I've been shooting recreationally for roughly 10 years. This is just the first time I've been in a situation to own a handgun. That said, I'm debating on taking a CCW class at my local range. My current gun is to big to carry and I don't plan on carrying anytime soon, but I figure knowledge is power and wouldn't hurt to have a liscense anyway. I'd also like to be well versed in all the laws specific to Ohio. What do you guys think? Good idea or waste of money? Thanks!
bassfreake Posted February 16, 2013 Report Posted February 16, 2013 yea even if you don't currently PLAN to carry it's still not a bad idea to know how to and be legal to just in case... and I personally like to try to know as much as I can about something that I'm getting into Thanks I was pretty excited about the alt myself. kind of like a school girl, in a dress, on a swing. lol It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out. Hunters21w Posted February 18, 2013 Report Posted February 18, 2013 Gun looks sick man, glad you found one you like! I saw workers at a gun shop near me shooing a 500 revolver. They couldn't shoot that thing straight if their life depended on it lol. They shot about 5-6 shots and were done. Maybe ill make a thread about trying to find a damn glock 19 gen 4! Help me Me and a buddy ordered one for each of us in January and we were supposed to get them in 3 weeks which was last week and now they are saying 8 weeks from the order date at the earliest Ouch sorry to hear that man! That's exactly what I was worried about. I almost ordered direct from glock but when I went on their FB page people were talking about having to wait months for their products. You'd think it'd be listed as back ordered but no. Found a local guy with a BNIB gen 4 that I'm meeting up to buy on Tuesday. Didn't get it for a steal but it was the best price I've seen that a non dealer is willing to sell one for. $650, the stores are charging $600 + tax so I'm cool with that! 06 Police TahoeHU- Pioneer 80prsAmp- Crossfire 8kSub- 4 15" Crossfire xs v2sWire- 1/0 Knu/AudiotechnixAlt- 3 Mechman SMD 340sBatts- 6 XS Power 3100s, 2400
