It will still be a little bright for you but the midbass kinda makes it feel more balanced. The b2 mid is getting 125+ rms. Crossed at 3.5k and at 71hz. The tweeter is getting a 0db overlap then dialed down by (-12 db) according to my active TLA knob. So its most likely getting less then 20watts. B2 reference 6.1 components (using the mids only) Then I took back my Polk mm tweeters because the b2's were too SQ for me. They sounded great but were soooooo soft. did you change front stage!?! Yeah, told you tweeters need a really small amount of power comparatively. But that's good you got it sounding better to your ears. Yours are the ones that matter anyway, not mine or anyone else's. But what slopes did you do for both, and what HPF on the tweeters? "Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now. It's like witchcraft... it automatically explains just about everything people don't understand. Swordlordboy1234 Posted July 17, 2014 Author Report Share Posted July 17, 2014 I did a 3.55 according to the cc1 at 12db HPF on the tweeters That transfers directly to a 3.55 LPF on the mid because I'm using Active TLA on my b2 Quattro. Finishing off with a 71hz HPF on the mid, it has nice audible (subwoofer like) mid bass from 150-80. And has a pretty nice Impact on kick drums. I'm still a little weak between 50-70hz but overall it was a HUGE upgrade on the overall midbass in my car.
