Swordlordboy1234 Posted September 17, 2014 Author Report Share Posted September 17, 2014 Now for my review of the Custom b2 CC 12's... Let me just say. These motors are beast as hell. For a 60lb 3 inch coil.... they are just retarded strong. They have so much ass behind them no matter what note i play. I contacted b2 because of their awesome customer service / product quality in regards to my amps and components... The owner responded quickly at all times of the day, even being 7 hours ahead of me in central texas. He built me a full set of custom subs, with baskets he normally doesn't use, tinsels he doesn't use on these subs, coil coatings he doesn't use on these subs, and specific spiders for my enclosure and power. Everything about these subs was custom top to bottom. He built them timely and gave me everything i could possibly need to build some bad ass woofers. They turned out great. I can play 6hz lower then my sundown X's with at least 6db more authority on the low and high ends of the spectrum. To the ear or meter i gained about 1-2 db on my peak frequencies. I have great response down to about 24 hz... (30hz with X's) and up to about 65 hz (39hz with the X's). The cooling is just out of this world. With the TI baskets, and the ceramic coating on my coils... Its just awesome. Couldn't be happier with the look or performance. Now for some videos. No full tilt videos yet. But i did do 1 full tilt session earlier... and if its not a 148, I'm quitting audio. It DIGS DEEP in your ears for a trunk build. Just nasty loud.
