Grant Whalen
Do you have any problems with weight distribution to the stock suspension? Ex: battery weight in trunk plus box and subs etc
yourstruly232
^ what he said about the suspension. I have a 2000 Corolla and i had to put some helpers on my springs just for my 2 12s! I dont even wanna see how low my car is gonna be this wednesday when i get new subs and when i put some heavy ass battery in my trunk. Maybe you went over this and i didnt see but what exactly is a pony wall? Is that what they call it when you "reverse" your subs on a trunk car and seal it? looks really nice tho, I hope mine comes out that clean
Swordlordboy1234
Do you have any problems with weight distribution to the stock suspension? Ex: battery weight in trunk plus box and subs etc I've added it up.. And I've got about 300 extra lbs behind my rear axle. It does effect the ride. Problems? No.. I actually like the ride better weighted down, more spongy vs empty its like a really tight spring. I gotta get her re aligned or use some coil overs to avoid excessive inner tire wear on the rear tires. It's just a sealed off trunk build if i was to answer the question. But a few weeks ago someone called it a trunk wall and one of the mods went on a rant and said to get his trunk fence / pony wall out of here and man up and make it a useless bass filled 2 seater. Best advise I can give bro is take your time... Take lots of advise off the people on Smd that know what they are talking about, and don't cut any costs or corners. Save up for everything you want... Not what's most appealing to your wallet and tackle everything 1 step at a time and never get lazy while working on your car. Take breaks but don't cut corners to finish faster. hdorre
Do you have any problems with weight distribution to the stock suspension? Ex: battery weight in trunk plus box and subs etcI gotta get her re aligned or use some coil overs to avoid excessive inner tire wear on the rear tires. If your camber and toe are maxed out, you could get adjustable rear control arms.. That is if you don't mind the sagging rear end. If you get coil overs, you still need an alignment On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread
