I love the sound of the b2 Mids, and running active when set up properly is a GOD sent. Just very happy overall with my doors. Too bad i can't hear it when I'm full tilt on decaf torture testing b2 reference mids. what song? Aztec - Spor - Aztec / Do not shake - single During this "torture testing" I played this mid for 1.5 hours all dub step full tilt. Crossovers set at 80hz and 3.55khz. Got the motor structure up to about 114f. Overall i was happy. those polks add 3 beginner dbs to your highs I like the sound of the polks though! Some of the best sounding tweeters (besides $1000 comps) I've ever seen that get loud too. they did sound good. they sound very similiar to my dds. hint hint. Well let me get this CC paid off and i just might try new tweeters. Though the polks might be hard to beat. Deep enough for me to need a half inch baffle where the polks would fit with no issues... Pretty sure they are 3.5-4inches deep. I will be seriously hunting tweeters now that I have found my new favorite mid. So we will be talking about my tweeters soon and the home theater thing soon after that. You wouldn't LOVE THEM. if you put a 6.5inch dd woofer that could play smooth up to 4-5k then that would be this mid. It plays midbass almost like a mini woofer. Your loud pa stuff is easily 4x as loud as this. At approx 146's sealed and 148's outlaw I can't hear any words of rap songs. But seal up the windows' AC on high... PUT on pink Floyd with the bass knob on like 10% and get ready for an ear gasum. Very nice suggestion sir! Thank you. It looks to have a excellent on axis response, a very low FS, and a reasonably high sensitivity. I gotta make use its large enough to fit in my door panel cut outs first but definitely appreciate the suggestion.
