Shelby Forest Click Posted February 11, 2013 Report Posted February 11, 2013 i just bought a refurb Kicker ZX750.1 online.. i got it prof installed it worked for a day, now it cuts on- protect light flashes -then it cuts off... and it repetes that over and over?? what could it be?

boom50cal Posted February 12, 2013 Report Posted February 12, 2013 What is it wired to, ohm load wise? 1 ohm isnt recommend on these amps because they get hot FAST at anything below 2 ohm, I know that because I run mine at 1.5. 4 gauge is needed atleast because these amps pull a ton of current. If i had the money i would run 1/0 to mine with reducers. Last, check all your fuses. There are two 40 amp blade type fuses on the amp. bassfreake Posted February 14, 2013 Report Posted February 14, 2013 lol I'm not gna lie I've actually never had a problem with kicker at least with the solo barics but compared to most of the stuff they got around here it's not all that great... but yea there's certainly much worse brands out there than kicker.
