SnowDrifter Posted March 9, 2013 Report Share Posted March 9, 2013 I got it from a place called industial metal supply, they are local to me but they might shit as well. this is 1/2' thick but its over kill to be honest.... 1/4 is fineI've never been able to find 1/2" stock near me lol. 1/4 no problem, but then I keep questioning the risk of stripping the threads since aluminum is fairly soft I think it would be ok....all you can do is try. also maybe try fine thread bolts to grip better I guess I could always get some 1/4 aluminum and a bolt and see for myself how hard it is to strip. Anyways.. I'm done cluttering your build log.
