If it were anyone else I'd say you were clipping them or something cause I've seen hdc3 coppers take that much before with no problems. I say strip them both down and recone to the alum coils.

i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

When you get new subs, please just use pipe caps instead of those plastic cups with tape. That is worrying the hell out of me.

04 Monochrome LT Chevy Tahoe

-A few wires, half a speaker, some watts

-All Black 6's

-Paint to Match, SS Bumper, Black grills.

-HID'ed and LED'ed

-A few performance enhancers

I have two nice subs for sale, but I am not allowed to help my fellow forum members by offering it to them for a nice price via my signature, sorry

2 Copper recones = 1 Aluminum recone in cost.

I like the sound of the coppers better plus cost.

Nope, not getting aluminum.

It was clipping.

When I drop the tuning that Low I have to readjust some H/U settings because of the power.

Forgot to do that this morning and you seen what happened.

If I had dropped my settings, it would have played all day.

WTF does it matter what I use for port blockers? LoL

Like all of a sudden, everything is going to be 8x better if I buy pipe caps instead of tape and Cups.
