i have 2 sa-15's, i had them on a brutus 1200 at first, upgraded to a brutus 2400. as my friend said there is no break in time on them, play em like you would any other day. I did just that and have had no problems with them yet. The 2400 pushes them very nice for a budget amp. I built my bix to small so i am in the process of a rebuild. 7 cf after all displacements and people say 34hz is a good tuning and you should be good to go.

i have stock battery and alt, big 3 is done, and 0ga power and grounds for the amp. 8ga wire for the subs. will be upgrading with more batteries and ho alt in the near future.

I would ditch the cap. They do more harm than good. Run o gage annd get a custome box or build your own. I have a sa-15 and love it. Do your self a favor and spend $150. On a smd dd-1 to set your gains right and you should be more than happy with your setup.

You only need an eq if you're Steve Meade lol for what most ppl would need having just the eq stuff that's on the head unit is fine

Thanks I was pretty excited about the alt myself. kind of like a school girl, in a dress, on a swing. lol

It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out.

Bass freak, I know you're just trying to help. But you're not helping at all.

When you don't know what you're talking about and you try to help out, you're just spreading misinformation.

Also is there any particular headunit yal recomend? I been using the Jensen vm9215bt but I been thinking about putting my old pioneer back in

Pioneer 7400hd its like $90 shipped on amazon right now, I have one and really like it. But if you have the money either a pioneer deh-80prs or a clarion cz702 And what vehicle are the subs going in?

Fizzy whether or not you need an eq is not a right or wrong answer it's a matter of personal preference... Whether or not you need a bigger alt or a bigger battery or more batteries or whatever is a scientific and mathematically measurable answer... Subs can't run if they don't have enough juice... Subs can run just fine with or without an external eq... besides that why comment just for the purpose of telling someone they're wrong and not actually provide a correct answer in it's place?

Thanks I was pretty excited about the alt myself. kind of like a school girl, in a dress, on a swing. lol

You might be better off with sa12's, I dont see you fitting 2 15's in a proper box in the trunk
