98aurora Posted February 16, 2013 Report Posted February 16, 2013 My dad has a 66 Chevelle and wants to put a small stereo in it and wants to cut out all road noise. He always liked Dynamat but I told him about Second Skin. What do you guys think?

Alpine Type R 5-1/4 components and 6x9's in the back, Alpine PDX F4, Sundown SA-10. not sure about the sub amp yet. he wants another PDX because they're so small, but im trying to convince him to get an AQ2200. we'll see

You won't get dynamat for like $20 and second skin costs like $80. It'll be closer than that. And second skin is great. I've personally never heard of anyone complain. Just as everyone says... gotta pay to play. Although he's not wanting a big system, you may have to get more dynamat in the future cause what you get now is worn out over time or something.
