I didn't know you were rebuilding or I would've hit the build log sooner. I'm in for more fabrication pics.

Well the substage will be last...but thinking new enclosure different tuning.

The front stage will be staying just modifying for clearance on the pillars and running tweeter in factory location at the top of the doors by the mirror.

The trunk will showcase the amps and Hertz crossovers. Im thinking maybe a false floor but just depends on new enclosure.

This little guy is rated at 25watts but puts out 135rms/ch @ 12v @ 4ohm and 185rms/ch @ 14v @ 4 ohm.

A perfect power match for the Hertz!!!

Thanks bro!! I cant wait to install this masterpiece. The 2.2 is my dream amplifier for my front stage and now it will get to abuse a set of Hertz 3-ways.

Should be amazing!

  • 3 weeks later...

No build updates as of yet....being as that fucking little rat (phil) in Pennsylvania lied about Spring coming early as we got 8" of snow yesterday.

But designs are in their final stages with new enclosure design as well as the false floor design so I will still have access to my spare tire.

New enclosure will be tuned around 36hz with a 6" aeroport. False floor will have a little flare but will be completely functional for daily duties.

So stay tuned! Once the weather stops being a dickhead progress will commence!!

Well if I had a garage I would be done completely lol! I still need to modify the pillars and start the tweeter housing. positioning and placement will take a few hours but will be well worth it!
