Wouldn't you want them to turn off when your on the highway and stuff...running 100% of the time has to lower their life....shit even my clitch fan on my truck only runs for a few seconds...maybe 20-30 during the summer...never in the winter.

You can just use a relay and have them stay on with the ignition. You don't "need" a fancy kit that controls by temp.

Second this. Half the time those kits' controller box fuck up from heat and never work right(like the one I had), or they splice into the A/C control wire(also like mine) and won't turn on unless the A/C is on.

E-fans are cool if you wanna free up some power from your engine, but they pull your voltage down, remember that when your sitting at a stoplight overheating and risking frying your amp(s).

Also, make sure those taurus fans move enough air to efficiently cool your radiator.

Have you didn't connect it right, the kit I have has been on my truck since last spring and I live in AZ where its heat even in december

That was the thing, I didn't do it lol. We bought it like that. It's got a fan clutch out of a 99 Tahoe now, so I'm golden. I never rise above 180* anymore.

I used a e-fan from an unknown ford donor in my s-10 and the kit from autozone. I wired in a second relay so that when the AC is on the fan goes into high and with the temp the fan goes low. SImple effective, no over heating issues at all.
