Would anyone draw this enclosure for me in sketch-up with measurements??

Since it's a double baffle and 1.5 thick. Do you count that as port? So you only need a piece that extends 20.5" from the baffle?

correct you measure from the opening of the port, to the end of the port.

if it is a corner your supposed to measure down the middle of the port.

this isnt even close to correct though

Care to explsin how it isn't even close to correct? short of the top not being on the box its the same dimensions you have listed, so if your deferring to the port being on the wrong side just put it on the other side anyway?

Hey guys I'd thought I would learn something from this too, I dont see how this is possible with those dimensions.

I thought this was the smallest you could make the port (with the dimensions given its over a 27" port length)

Now, just as an example, can you do this? Make the port as small as you want without it being equally as far away (5.25") from the back?

I thought it HAD to be (in his case) 5.25 away from back wall (like first pic)

Sorry to put my question in your thread, I was just do a 3d model for you when I realized I didnt know this.

so its a rule that you need at least 5.25" of space from end of port to box wall? can that number vary or is it a minimal number to adhere to? does that number change based on how many drivers or port opening surface area you have?

you need what ever your port width is at least away from any wall. so if yoour port is 6 inches wide you need to be 6 inches from the back wall or any wall. if your port is 2 inches wide you need at least 2 inches away
