How is this setup? Do I need to tweek it? ('07 Monte Carlo)

OK, I'm a DIY-er when it comes to car audio, as I mentioned in another thread, and I think I have a grasp on everything. However, I do wish to double check and see if I need to change anything to enhance or put to better use of the equipment I have.

Current set up:

Car: 2007 Chevrolet Monte Carlo LS

Dual battery setup: Gold Duralast (in front, wired to alternator, normal ground), Kinetik 2000 (in trunk, wired to alternator, grounded to trunk wall)

Amps and speakers: two Hifonics amps. I have a Brutus BRZ2400.1D powering my (2) Rockford T1D412 @ 2 ohm option for fuses on speakers; and I have a Zeus ZRX600.4 powering my (2) Infinity Kappa 63.9i @ 2 ohm and my (2) Rockford P1694 @ 4 ohm (soon to be replaced with [2] Infinity Kappa 693.9i @ 2 ohm)

Head Unit: Sony Xplode single din (getting changed to Pioneer double din ASAP)

Wire: 0/1 AWG connects batteries to alt and trunk battery to Brutus amp (trunk battery and Brutus grounds also 0/1 AWG); 4 AWG for Zeus power and ground

Upgraded alternator from stock 105 amp to H/O 270 amp alternator

Please let me know of any problems of too much or not enough are going on with this setup and what I can do to fix it.

Everything looks pretty good, i would do a big 3 upgrade w/ 0 gauage under the hood. and i have never heard of jumpimg from the altenator to your second battery but i am now expert. common set ups are HO altenator, big 3 wire upgrade, run of 0 gauge from battery under hood to battery in the back. What if anything have you done about putting sound deadener in your doors, trunk back deck lid? where are you speakers being installed at? Are they component speakers or coax?

Sounds fine. Make sure you fuses your power wire runs but other than that just do what the above said and your be good

Bcbrassard: 63.9i's and P1964's are all coaxial and the infinity 63.9i are 6.5"; the infinity 693.9i (6x9 coaxial) will be replacing the Rockford P1964's (6x9)

And on the topic of dampening material; I heard that Dynamat is good, but pricy compared to others. Any "off brands" recommended or just go with Dynamat?
