If someone really wanted to ban me for me asking opinions on what sub has higher output, DO IT! I thought that's what a forum's for: to talk about audio and ask advice from someone with experience with a certain product. I'm sorry if asking what's better seems offensive.

The thread is pointless, so they don't allow them.

They are both great subs, they can both get loud. We could compare the same alignment and predict which one would be louder for a specific case, but even that would still not take into account the response of the vehicle interior.

Normally these types of threads turn into bashing of brands/subs, people giving opinions that only know about one of the two subs in question so they are biased, or in many cases a bunch of crap from people that know nothing about either sub except what they have read.

Current system:

1997 Blazer - (4) Customer Fi NEO subs with (8) American Bass Elite 2800.1s

Previous systems:

2000 Suburban - (4) BTL 15's and (4) IA 40.1's = 157.7 dB at 37 Hz.

1992 Astro Van - (6) BTL 15's and (6) IA 40.1's = 159.7 dB at 43 Hz.

I can definitely understand that. I didn't come here to start a brand bashing. I was wondering if some experienced guys who have attended shows and heard both could tell me what they've seen. The vehicle is a 2012 Dodge Ram single cab. I am specifically looking to get loud in the 35-45hz range.

Guys: I'm not trying to play rent-a-mod as much as I am simply observing: The only reason these threads turn into a huge deal because people keep replying to them.
