Threaded rod ftw!

Nivram, Why wouldnt you seal to the window?

threaded ROD FTMFW! and lots of fiberglass to seam mdf pores!!

but more layer's = tighter punchyer bass.

Seal to b pillar with your green screen fabric :) staple the fabric to the front baffle and stretch it tight to the pillar. staple it the glass the fabric and buy some matt as well to glass ontop of where the fabric meets the panels.

You get a shitty seal on the window/ door panel i had trunk flex from a wall car. shouldnt have happened even with glassing to b pillars it will still be nearly impossible to get a perfect seal.

when your rear door flexes it will open up the gap between the glass and trim pannel/foam/great stuff sealing to b pillar will prevent this from happening

oh wait nvm you have a 2 door.. sorry about that.

the deadener will surely help the roof flex but the moonroof on the other hand is a different story , If you do plan on going for numbers you will need a trim panel to delete the moonroof. i mean you dont have to but if you dont itl leak.

its a clean car id hate to se it with a great stuffed moonroof trim pannel so only do that if you want to sacrifice a headliner.

better yett id remove the headliner all together! so you can put it back to stock with clean parts if need be.

Btw sorry for spamming up you build thread its just really similar to what i plan on doing and id like to share the lessons/advice learned from my wall build.

its always better to overbuild your box!! even if you put pyle 18's in there. "Its easy to buy new /upgraded equipment , it sux to rip down and re build walls 10 times"

Imo Build it good the first time so when you upgrade subs/power the mdf wont hate you for it. if anything all you will have to do is play with port tunes.

I don't mean to clutter up your thread, but I think you would love the SP4 18's. Here is a cobalt that has two. He's had many different setups in this car, I like this one by far. Plus that wall he has is sexy

I have an angled back in my wall its not a 90 and mine it just fine. For the back I would just go up as high as you can to the back glass so you don't have that extra angle in there and it would make it easier to do. Get busy

Quality is all in how you take pictures ;) I have plenty of projects that look WAY better on camera then in person :D

crazy to fit so many in so little. Reminds me of some of the porns I've seen?

^ my wall had the angle back as well and i thought it sounded pretty well, but ive heard having a 90 back will gain some. guy told me the box wont load evenly due to the slant for all i know he could have been high.. but the guy was doing 151 sealed so i figured id pay attention to him.

it was just a tip i got. My next wall id still have to slant the back in order to get the required 20-22 cubes.

That's Max's wall. He lives like 20 minutes from me. If you go to a show in Illinois this year you will see his car. Kyle Golden built his wall.
