This is a neat idea for strictly a show car.

But why 200A for charging?

Like Leo said that's going to really tempt somebody to short those terminals.

Even with a breaker or fuse, 200A shorted is going to cause some damage.

My other concern would be backing into something that could sustain a 200A load for a length of time which could either kill your batteries or much worse, start a fire.

I dig the idea, don't get me wrong, but if that's mainly for charging, I'd drop the fuse/breaker rating.

I have the breaker from RF laying around. So I planned on using it. May have to get a smaller fuse like a few of you have suggested.

OR...

Just get a battery disconnect to break the circuit.

Mount this inside the car and switch it on for charging.

I like the key switch idea along with a fuse, good peace of mind.

Only pics of equipment since then. I agree that you've got WAY too much front stage for what you're doing. A little PRO audio goes a LONG way and you don't even have to fully power them to get em to scream. It's a good thing you have the 360.3, because I believe you're really going to need it to tone all that PA gear down. You remember the Audiotistics Rockford van right? He was rocking PA, but he also had 64 subs in a 4th order, so. He had 2 Supertweets and 4 PA mids in each door, to keep up with 64 10" subs, and even he said they SCREAM and are loud as hell.

You have basically TWICE the PA gear and you have half the car(compared to the Audiotistics van). Have you SERIOUSLY considered what you're doing with the sound stage, or are you just kinda blindly spinning a wheel with numbers on it and saying "THIS" is the number of tweeters and mid drivers I want to install? I'm truly hating to be this negative Nancy in your thread, I'm concerned you're creating a lot of extra install work for yourself without you yourself really knowing WHY you're doing it. One super tweet and two PA mids per door would be PLENTY to keep up with 2000W sub stage. This is just my opinion, sorry to be throwing it out there.

Sorry we have been busy with the vinyl company we can't build but that's why we don't post in here and with all the pro audio come over here to east coast show and you would under stand its the way the uptown builds go.

I'll stay happy with my ear drums intact here in AZ, I've got no desire to hear Shrill ass PA gear from a quarter mile away.

I see I have 500 watts of sub and 200 watts of mids and highs. So thats like a 60% bass 40% rest.
