Trey_Dog650
No it's not a vs thread. Suck it lol I know s series is for racing and d series is the normal batt. Is there any advantage to use one over the other in under the hood applications? As of now I'm leaving towards the s series cuz in my mind it's gotta perform under the hood of a race car and while I have no race car it will still be under my hood! What you guys think??? HHR Ed
S and D series of XS power utilize the same materials and plate design. Both will perform in a similar fashion under the hood of a car. Difference besides the color of the labels are that the S comes with top posts, and some of the D models have slightly more lead than the S series counterpart. This makes the S version lighter and the D version have more capacity. boom50cal
Bitches S the D. But forreal, it'd be a better idea to run a S series in a lighter 4 cylinder car instead of a D series which would be more suited in a big truck or SUV. Trey_Dog650
Lol yup pretty much. Plus looks like there's more variety for the D series. I was just worried about the heat and whether the S series had higher tolerances. But looks like they are pretty equal. Gonna measure what will fit now Quote 13 Kia Forte Build! 07 Hyundai Accent Build ***Super Seller*** N8ball2013 And then he gets to say ok all you guys were right. im sorry for being a dummy poo poo head.
