SO I keep entertaining the idea of doing Low power -more cone area -big enclosure. 4 budget 12's...like rockford primes....on about 1200w for the sake of not buying new amp..or doing any electrical upgrades/alt/batteries. I've doen the big 3+extra ground in 4ga already.

Falls in line with a small BUDGET build lol.

The catch is my enclosure has to be removeable...I use my back seats a few times a month when going to races/snowboarding/or the beach....I don't want to give that up.

So my thoughts are keeping the box under the window line...doing subs forward/port forward and using the top like a rack/place to throw shit. I'll be happy if I gain output over my current setup..1-vvx10 on 400w in a tline...which I think would happen.

I want your guys input on some budget 12's...4 to put on 1krms....any personal experience etc. Budget somewhere aroun $200-250

I don't want people telling me not to....if anything I'm getting college credit for building the enclosure in woodshop....

Also I made a status update the other day about a budget build off..and how funny it would be...no one else wanted to partake so this is me going solo. Gonna see how loud I can get off 150-200$ (for subs) and only 1k worth of power.

Don't do it.

:P

Consider the Walmart brands, Alpine, Kicker, etc. Also, look on Sonicelectronix, give them a call. I bet you'll get a great deal.
