Don't do it.

Consider the Walmart brands, Alpine, Kicker, etc. Also, look on Sonicelectronix, give them a call. I bet you'll get a great deal.

I've been looking on Sonic ebay amazon etc...kicker is too much haha(never thought I would say that)...kinda favoring some Kenwoods right now.

Even if I bought their blown e12's on yardsale and reconed them Im looking at about 400-450$..

well the R1s are single 4ohm and handle 150w rms, while the R2s are dual 2ohm and handle 250 rms...and there is only about $10 in price difference...

I've only seent he yardale thread with blown/qc failed stuff...rubbing VC/distorted high volume..If I could do 4e12's for 250$ or less I would be all over it.

Somebody here, can't think of his name, did a couple of cheap RE 8's or 6.5's in a t-line and loved it more than his RF 15.

Thanks fo rthe suggestion..didn't think about RE...I would need the single 4ohm..they're out of stock..can't find em anywhere...seemed like a good option too.
