perryrc14
I hate it when ear bud wires rip or snap at the end after being wrapped and unwrapped so many times. Soldering them back on is easy if you can get the coating off of each individual strand of wire lol. Anyone have any good ideas on how to get it off? HatersGonnaHate
I usually burn them lol. Hold it over a lighter, as soon as the bare wire catches, blow it out. Coating should now be gone. HatersGonnaHate
It's not just the jacket Will, there's a coating on the bare wire themselves, if you were to just strip back some headphone wires and try to splice them back together, it wouldn't work, the coating prevents that.
