audioman21
I'm gonna be ordering 2 SSD15"s(dual 2 ohm) with the copper coils and was wondering what amp you guys recommend to push these. They will be in a 6 cf. total(after sub, bracing, port displacemet) ported box but don't know what tuning freq. yet. My budget is 500-600.I was thinking Kicker zx1000.1 but wanted to run it by the pros first.

audioman21
I was looking into those. This will be a daily driver and I like to listen to it close to full volumes for good amounts of time .Will it stay cool if I beat on it?If it helps my other equipment is a Pioneer DEH-3800 and a Clarion eq. with a 7 volt output. dmanson
no i don't work for RF but i think they make some of the best reliable amps ever. although i favor hifonics amps also because that's what i have at the moment until i can get my T20001bd. RF it #1 do me (i said for me). i recommend them for anyone trying to push some clean power. andym85
i would go for the dual 1 coil configuration so you can get a 1ohm load. then id go for a IA20.1...1800watts@1ohm. i think it is just little above your price range...but worth it, imo Quote i likes me some audio stuff... audioman21
If I ran that T10001 at 1 ohm or a Kicker zx1500.1 at 2 ohm, would I need 2 batteries or could I get away with an alt. upgrade and a yellow top under the hood? They are in the same price range but i feel more comfortable at 2 ohm, though I really am likeing the Fosgate.
