Thumpper Posted February 8, 2008 Author Report Share Posted February 8, 2008 anyways this is how I make my flares nice and solid I use the holes to take advantage of capillary attraction..the resin gets drawn in thru the slits and the air bubbles come out thru the holes... this ensures that the kerfs are 100% filled and rock solid once the resin cures.... works better than any other way...glue shrinks and leaves voids in the kerfs..this way does not[] My Install Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
philip Posted February 8, 2008 Report Share Posted February 8, 2008 that makes a lot of sense. i noticed that when kerfing that the glue doesn't fill all of the gaps if you bend first then try to get the glue in. if you glue first then when you bend you get glue everywhere. i wanna try it now. very nice work btw, i like.
