Forevrbumpn Posted August 22, 2008 Report Posted August 22, 2008 or phase horn your combining the front and rear wave to exit the same opening, so there is less phase issues, and more gain nice design man Please tell us how that sounds man Ive done the sam boxes on just simple U-turns, and being fully horn, not the way you did it your looks more like a ported box, doing the whole phase deal, very sexy tho I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

I call it a Tapped Compression Horn " Since it was something that he designed years ago I would think he could call it what ever he wants.
Forevrbumpn Posted August 22, 2008 Report Posted August 22, 2008 wow, where did that come from? its like saying 4th order and bandpass, same thing, different terminology, that box design is in many forums online, alot of people been building them for years I just PMed him and complimented on how awesome it came out Ive also built quite a few of them, but a different design, I combine the rear and front wave in a U turn kind of design, my only draw back is instead of boomy spl bass output, I get clean, punchy accurate bass. and plays from tuning to about 1octave above very sharply drops at tuning I asked him to tell me(if he wants) how his comes out, so I can know where to change my designs to get more boomy, over punchy I have a ritual called "terminator".
