Quiet Posted March 5, 2013 Report Posted March 5, 2013 A cap is a poor substitute for proper electrical... a bandaid at best. You're listening to music, not starting an electric motor. Put whatever you may spend on a cap towards a battery or the next gauge higher wire. 2007 Pacifica Rebuild. Less quiet. Still not loud.
larrys95civic Posted March 5, 2013 Report Posted March 5, 2013 A cap can actually harm an amp after the first big hit because it's drained of all it's energy and can't refill it's self as fast as a song produces bass notes (well in most cases), as a battery will continue to have stored power.
