Box rise in 4th order

Box size has to increase by some degree to increase efficiency, ie lower the rise. Thats just a very general piece of advice though.

If this is the case, an this being said, now I know this is a TOTAL shot in the dark, tons of Polyfill to make the subs think the enclosure is bigger?

But i have also heard that when rise is involved it could go either way

Yeah there are diminishing returns once you go past a certain point. Mr. Meade posted a video about it using an IM-SG

MORE POWER!!!! Get a second amp and recone all subs to strap at 1 ohm.

This is what I had to do to fight it. I didn't recone but simply strapped to half the ohm load and double the power of the amps as well. Its a win win.

Kinda late to the party, and sorta reiterating I do here...but at what frequency did you get your measurement? And what about the rest of the spectrum? If you have a really narrow bandwidth where your rise is high it may not be worth the effort to try to fight it. I don't even consider it in my car because it would be a shit ton of work for next to no noticeable gain.
