16v and 4 channels...

I know in your head you know what you mean. But a 16v system is what your talking about since the actual charge voltage is 18+. A 14v system charges to 16+

When I say 16v, I mean the charging voltage. Perhaps I mis-spoke, I'm talking about using 14v batteries charging at 16v

Going to bump this to the top again.

My BMF 600.4 will go up to 16.3 without protecting.

And I've read that the new sundown 4 channels are 19v stable.

Anyone have anything else they can add to the list? :)

Elemental Designs Nine.5 that I have forsale can run at least 16.5V
(nine.4 also)

I contacted maxxsonics a couple of months ago and they told me none of their lines are reliable above 15.5V (iirc)
So not sure about running them that high.

Kicker told me the same thing nothing higher than what a 12V setup would do

Also I heard running step downs isnt going to be reliable for long.

i dont have any experience with them.. but heard alot of bad about them. Especially with heat

Mine get hot as fuk.

Crap... I meant to update this a while ago

MB Quart RA400.2 is stable to 16.5v. I didn't care to test it any higher due to my vehicle's limitations, but it will take higher voltages enough to run 14v without a stepdown
