T.A.G. Audio
So I have all the materials and I'm doing my big three tomorrow. I have no problem doing the battery + to alt + and the battery - to body. But my body to frame/ block is all the way in the back of my engine compartment is almost impossible to get to. So would it be alright if I just added the 0 gauge right onto the same bolt on the body and just ran it about 4 foot to the frame? Is that to long? 03 Ford f150 2 Sa8 v2s Ap 1800d... Ghoagland
Just use a diff engine block bolt it dosen't matter as long as it goes to the engine block
T.A.G. Audio
I'm asking if 4 feet is to long. Not what your trying to say. I'm going straight to the frame. 03 Ford f150 2 Sa8 v2s Ap 1800d... T.A.G. Audio
So would a 4 ft ground from body to frame be too long? 03 Ford f150 2 Sa8 v2s Ap 1800d... jandsaudio
I don't see why it would be. As long as you have the right gauge (0 of course) and a good ground bolt i don't see it making a difference. Maybe climb under the truck and do it that way, or take it tire Discounters on bardstown rd across from fegenbush and ask for a guy names justin, tell him foster sent you and see if he can help you, might charge you a couple bucks but shouldn't be too bad

Pioneerchuck
You should be perfectly fine running a 4ft section.
Carbon
If your running a 4ft length of OFC you will be fine, It is best to use the location of oem grounding if at all possible, Just make sure if you choose a different bolt that its a part of the chassis and not a piece of metal bolted to the chassis.
