FosgateLife Posted March 11, 2013 Report Posted March 11, 2013 Okay so my voltage has been 14.8 while driving (14.3-14.7) when im slamming it) ever since i got the car. Yesterday i get in my car, start er up, and i see it only goes to 14.5.... Even when reving the engine, it never went over 14.5... Now, i got in it this morning and it still says 14.5 while driving? Nightshade Posted March 11, 2013 Report Posted March 11, 2013 You probably need to charge the batteries with an external battery charger. Also the temperature can affect the voltage. This happens all the time in my vehicle. If I throw it on the charger for a few hours the problem is solved. Its always sits at 12.6 when the car is off, never drops. Like i said usually when im driving its usually 14.8 the temperarure here in KY went from 38 on saturday, to 62 on sunday... Would the big 3 help the initial drop from 14.8 to 14.5?
