box looks good. I wish more would take that kinda time, and patience for clean smooth even cuts, and make something that goes together nice, and follow thru with that prep work.

I appreciate your advice Fritos, I've never had a negative word for you, and still don't. I have been doing this a long time and by no means am I stubborn. I definitely don't like to pull out a heavy ass box if I hear an air leak.

On a similar note, I rock climb. When leading a route, I place protection in the form of cams and eye bolts to connect quickdraws

to. Yes I've seen some guys place little to NO protection and have been just fine. I like knowing it's there in case I fall. I would NEVER take the advice of another climber to place less protection because it was their preference. I feel safe doing it how I do it, and I won't be changing it. Your advice is noted

on a side note. Where did you get those bar clamps you used? I found some on ebay that looks like those, but slowly every one of them had the trigger part on the handles crack off. I wonder if you had any of them have the same problem.

Yea and to clarify things clean sierra is building my box. ( I the high schooler am not) I am however doing everything else by myself sierra doesn't live by me actually the other side of the states so once he mails it over I'll throe the subs in and start building thanks for the feed back

It's clean. I like the 04 sti front end. How're you liking the Skar mids/highs? Sierra's a legit box builder. If I had to shell out the money to pay someone to build me a box, I'd probably throw the money his way, Just saying. Haven't seen any problems with any of the boxes you've built bud. If your wanting to keep money on the low, but still get the black look, you could just use some black carpeting with adhesive spray or hit it with a few coats of black plastidip. Just throwing those out there so your not exactly throwing money away just for a color. Did you decide on rcas? I picked up a few RFiT16s on sonic for like $20/pair. Clean signal, sturdy, and went with my color theme. Still a work in progress, so no pics until its finally finished and playing.

I got the mega crank up front which is hard to find at least when I was looking

One popped up on eBay for 140 shipped new and I bought it within the first hour of it being up

Dena also has a 90 dollar agm 35 group which is a bigger battery for sale . Idk if you saw that deal

I'm putting one of them in my trunk

and yea I love the deka haven't pushed it yet but people dont have issues with them

I haven't messed with carpeting honestly. The 85.4 on the vxi's will sound real good tuned to 80hz with tweeters on -3db. Little harsh on 0db, but thats all up to you.
