momofx76
I am comparing the Deka Group 31 Marine AGM Deep Cycle to the Deka 31 Automotive / Truck AGM Deep Cycle and can't figure out if there is any difference. They both have the same CCA, CA and Reserve Capacities... *** I am asking this because I can ONLY get the Marine type locally so that means quite a bit cheaper for me. *** Sooo, my question is there a downside of getting the Marine AGM Deep Cycle mentioned above? What is so different about it?

momofx76
Soooooooo, besides the terminals, they both are the same thing then correct? Here is a pic of the two batteries in question btw : One thing I did notice is that the Marine 31 states its also "valve regulated" .... does that mean its better that the std one below? momofx76
So are the two in the pic above the same performance besides the extra terminals and the valve regulated?
Skullz
The valve simply lets the gas out in the event it heats up so it doesn't blow up. The only difference between the two batteries are the connections, everything inside is the same and will perform the same. 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2
