its been a while but I think my tweeters are crossed over at 7k lol. but my mids dont have a problem playing that high.

I think it's different running active and passive. I think actively you make a smoother slope depending on the amps and passively ohms resistance is a much faster slope

aim the tweeters at the windshield and tell me its not 100 times better than right at your ears. im the guy that has to have my tweeters just right. I have found that off axis facing the windshield always has given me the best sq. give it a shot,

But this is another reason why I'm going to upgrade and get some quality drivers and install them correctly

from experience, I haven't liked how tweeters sounded off my glass. Plus I like speakers pointed at my ears

Eventually I might just say f-it and glass the speakers into my dash or something so they are exactly like a audiophile set up has in his house. we shall see...

Still have to figureout driver situation and 1500rms amp for subs.

But I got my mids/high amp today.
