MECHMAN
So the avbm only adjust your voltage set point but doesn't increase amperage? Are there any advantages in buying this over just upgrading your alt besides price? gives you the ability to turn up the voltage form inside the vehicle. What I'm trying to figure out is are you gaining anything as far as power for your amplifier since the alternator will still put out the same amperage? I'm not up on the volt/amps which is why I'm asking. It seems like just increasing voltage wouldn't really do much since your not increasing the amperage that's going into your amplifier. Having the ability to adjust the voltage is for being able to run 12 or 14 volt batteries Quote 1-888-MECHMAN www.Mechman.com [email protected]

Someone who doesn't know any better will think they are actually going to gain more output from their alternator just by being able to set their voltage higher. This is the sad mistake many have made in the past and they still don't know. Instead they just set their voltage at 15.3 as oppose to 14.8 and think they are gaining output when their not.
