KMS
Ok switched it with a rosewill hive 750w 80+gold I'm a bit of a Corsair nut hugger when it comes to PSU's. So I'd have to recommend the TX750 from Corsair. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139021&Tpk=corsair%20tx%20750&IsVirtualParent=1 Also has more Amps on the 12v rail. 62A compared to Rosewill's 54A. I have the TX650 on a GTX 670, and a 2500k clocked at 4ghz. Not a single problem ever with 8+ hours of gaming per session a lot of times. There is also no reason to go above 500-600w psu for a single gpu system. So bumping that down can save a lot of money while still keeping quality parts. Krakin's Home Dipole Project http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/186153-krakins-dipole-project-new-reciever-in-rockford-science/#entry2772370 Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist? I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . . What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself but what has drawn your attention in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears, thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener. Raptorman
The Raidmax 530SS is a really solid PSU. I've used it in all my budget builds for people and every single one is still truckin after 2 years so far from my earliest build. Also, that G. Skill is finnicky. This is coming from a dude that has tried to like G. Skill for a long time, every single kit I have gotten from them has developed errors one way or another sooner or later. I suggest Crucial Ballistix RAM. Take a look at it. 1996 GMC Sonoma Four Fi BTL Neo 18's In 2:1 6th Order Bandpass 2 Ampere 5k's @ .5 TEAM FI TEAM #LITHIUMCANTDEMO On 10/20/2013 at 0:37 AM, KillaCam said: Fucking with a Prius driver is like making fun of a disabled kid. Raptorman
Also, get the 3570K instead of the 3570, it's an extra $5 for fully unlocked overclocking potential. 1996 GMC Sonoma Four Fi BTL Neo 18's In 2:1 6th Order Bandpass 2 Ampere 5k's @ .5 TEAM FI TEAM #LITHIUMCANTDEMO On 10/20/2013 at 0:37 AM, KillaCam said: Fucking with a Prius driver is like making fun of a disabled kid. beaker
Is there really a need to buy an OS? That extra money you're spending on faster ram isnt going to make enough of a difference that you'd notice. If you're going all baller on a budget, there's no reason NOT to get some parts used, especially the video card. I dont see a need for an i5 either. The motherboard you picked, you can upgrade later on. I would get an i3 for now and put some of that money into an SSD.
KiKaZz74
How would I get an os? Its a family comp so I can't really get it any other way. My moms computer basically. And will an i3 handle rendering and gaming good? Will an ssd really make it that noticable? I'm coming off a 2003 win xp with amd athlon 2.2ghz and nvidia 9400gt and 2gb ram so ANYTHING will seem fast to us at this point. Raptorman
If you are using highly-threaded applications such as rendering, the 8 core AMD cpu's will work out better for you. As much as it pains me to say that.
