Pics will happen with whatever we get.Being almost the same situation as you cause of school and can't get a real job during track season I'm limited on what I can get so my budget would be around $1,300-1,400 for everything except a mouse. I love my Logitech Walmart mouse. Holy shit. Ur story is like mine only ur older lol. Track won't let me get a job and school sucks. I'm a senior in highschool so its mainly my parents comp but will be used tons by me. I'm happy with my dell keyboard and I think logitech mouse lolol. Miss my razer mouse tho. If they had them I'd get the razer pro series. Keyboard mouse mousepad. I got 4 options on monitors now. Current pos tv 720p, old monitor 17" square idr res, and 2 1080p lcds in 36" one 47" Lol nice. But I might suggest that monitor over the TVs. I have a 1080p LCD LG and a 1440x900p I think 17" monitor looked much clearer. Believe this is because of the actual size of the pixels / pixel per inch. My trusted brands for quality monitors are Asus, Samsung, and someone else just can't remember right now. If you're looking for somethingthat will kick ass, get something like this. upgrades from the factory on the site is the Video card, the OS, and the Processor. lol, I have 8 gig in my machine at work. Beaker, I'm sure you remember the days when like 512MB of ram was the shit. No one ever needed 1 GB of it. Now, minimum is around 4GB usually. And it's even cheaper than that 660. And this model card offers superior cooling as well.
