Chris Lamp
I'm planning on doing a true 3800watt max system with a high output alt and a xspower xp950 battery in the back hooked up to a battery isolator. What battery should I go with up front for starting? I have a 98 chevy blazer, I'm limited on space and need to use side post adapters. WastedTalent
Use their vehicle application guide to figure out what fits. It'll be on the right hand side... Quote Sheena = pedobear
Hunters21w
So I'm assuming 1900w rms system? First of all, you won't need a battery isolater. You can either check the fitment guide on XS Power or just measure your current underhood battery and get a battery with the same, or smaller dimensions. Keep in mind, you cannot use an XP model battery for underhood purposes. You will need a D or S model. The D and S is the same thing, with a different label. Nathan @ XSpower
Most actually go with the D/S3400 for under the hood use in these applications. If you are still using side posts adapters, then you will also need a 551 iBar kit.

I just installed a d3400. It was a bit tight, but, fit fine........I removed the rad cap, and it slid right in....
