soundstream15 Posted March 23, 2013 Report Posted March 23, 2013 Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny, high 38. I wanna install my sound deadening but idk if its to cold or if I need to wait?
SnowDrifter Posted March 23, 2013 Report Posted March 23, 2013 Any way you can pre-heat the deadener before applying it? It just doesn't seem like it sticks all to great when it's cold ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
ric006 Posted March 23, 2013 Report Posted March 23, 2013 put your car and deadner in the garage with a torpedo heater
iROCKtheFOSgate Posted March 23, 2013 Report Posted March 23, 2013 what kind of deadening do you have ??? if you have good deadner you shold be fine just make sure you clean and prep really really good and if you really wanna go a little overkill just use a heat gun or a blow dryer and heat up spots little by little and apply the sound deadner [sharedmedia=garage:vehicles:2273]
soundstream15 Posted March 23, 2013 Author Report Posted March 23, 2013 Audio technix 60mil Have no way to preheat:/
