momofx76
UPS damaged a battery that I have - a Kinetik HC3800. There was a hole on the top plastic about the size of a quarter - still cant figure out how they managed to get something to poke through the dual double box and bust the plastic. Anyway, the battery held full charge still and I patched it up with piece of plastic and epoxy resin. I even load tested this battery at 400A and it tested out almost identical to my other kinetik. Is it ok to use this battery? I am asking because I am changing some stuff in my system and want to sell it so I do not want any issues after I sell it. It has been working fine for the past 2 months btw....
kylet1644
sounds like it should be fine as long as that epoxy holds up

Big-A
i would have made a claim with the shipper before I used a battery with a hole punched in it. Have you contacted Kinetic and asked them?
