momofx76 Posted March 29, 2013 Report Posted March 29, 2013 I was wondering how much current good quality welding cable can handle - say like Excelen 2/0 gauge? I noticed it is rated at around 282A but at 600V so does this mean it will handle alot more at 12 - 14v??

Pretty much any insulated cable will be fine at 12V.
