tlee2 Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 I noticed 1 of my 8 sa 12s wasnt moving and was completely locked up. I tore it apart ( re cone ordered) and seen the pole completely un aligned all the way to one side. After i examined the motor i notice the top plate had came un glued and caused everything to become misaligned. Ive got the motor and top plate apart so can realign it now here is my question: What glue would be best to attach the top plate back to the magnet on the motor? Everything will be sanded and cleaned before re gluing 6 Sundown X 15s 2 Sundown NS1 V2s C Pillar 4th order Bagged Suburban on 24s http://youtube.com/tlee333

Chris Hammer Posted April 23, 2013 Report Posted April 23, 2013 Hobby shop..get the thinner stuff..you won't need gel for a topplate. Skip the activator,,you will need a little work time with it to make sure it sits right. I think some companies use a epoxy from the factory but don't quote me there. CA glue should do it though.
