I've recently picked up another daily and desperately need to upgrade the sound.

Biggest issue is, that im a 15" kinda guy, low loud and proud if you know what I mean. Here comes the issue, the liberty does not have a lot of room to work with in the back and I would prefer to keep the rear seats and the box under the window line.

What would you suggest I run?

I have always wanted to run 4 8's for giggles, but Im not sure I have enough space.

had my 10 tens in my jeep for a while, did measure and you can tightly fit 2 15's if you go port and subs up. and given they only need 2.5-3 cubic ft per sub. and that if i remember was right around 34 hz tuning. was few years ago so don't remember for sure

if you dont mind the wait 3x q10 ported fit very nicly on 4-5k

but it all comes down to how much want to spend and how much power you can feed them

does your have the fuse panel in the rear side (some of our aust. mdls have that)

something you need to bare in mind

1 thing to bare in mind with the dd they love big boxes, there 9510 is like 1.6net (thats getting into 12 territories)

but hay why not just go straight to the z the new ones out soon

enough talking crap

get you tape, measure what you have, and post some info

do a few mock up boxes and see whats will work and fit

$$$$$$

how much power can you feed them

all of this will decide what size and how many

all youll need to do is pick the brand thats within your budget

I have 2 15's sealed but my trunk is bigger, you should be able to fit 2 12 sealed and power them correctly

C2 audio has some massive 12's on pre sale for $99, they are new subwoofers owned by carstereogiant.com not sure if this will entice you but they are 3 inch voice coil so they can take a pretty good beating or if you can wait for the bigger 12's with 4 inch voice coils priced at $249 and most likley will be lower when pre sale comes Here's the info on the 12"

good luck

in all honesty if i were to do anything audio wise once i get it rebuilt if i even end up doing that, i myself would go 2 12's in rear, 4 8's 1 in each door, 4 6.5 comp set's 2 in each door tweeters in dash/upper doors. but thats just me i know the trim rings on my 03 are pretty much perfect to cut out fit an 8 in and glass up something.

That might be a little too much LordArcane. I just want a good sounding system. For once in my life, it does not really need to shake buildings 3 blocks away :)

if you are not looking for that much per say, i would say the 4 8's or 2 10's and some new door comps

my 2 10's sounded good for the setup, wasn't too little but wasn't shaking all the mirrors.

at least if you end up going this way you will still have some room for hauling whatever in back.

edit, ever think of a single 12 or 15 also? i never was one to run a single sub but...

Soundqubed hdc3 18 6 cubes @35hz that will slap in up jeep man

18 wouldn't fit, he wants to keep back seats up and box below window line, that said there is only room for max like 16dx45w at top 22h and forgot the bottom measurements of the box i had planned for 2 15's for my jeep, but it would have taken up the whole back window line down.
