My truck came equipped iwth buckets in the front with the captains chair style arm rests. made it real easy to put the amps int eh center like that since I just had to remove the console and utilize some of the factory mounts. n8ball2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Author Report Share Posted April 9, 2013 i actually have no pictures of the truck in stock trim I dont think but the center console was a floor mount unit that was stationary. Its pretty much bolted down in the center with four bolts. In this pic the two rear cross sections are where its bolted down to the floor. heres what it looks like with nothing there. The uncarpeted spots are where the brackets were bolted in place. not the best but you get the idea. Its pretty solid. When the seats are in the amps are pretty snug so its really solid that way. And when the rest of the console gets finished it will be even more solid. I need to take it back in and get a brow done on top. yes those are orion 2500ds. I see .7 at each amp so I'm probably getting 3k out of each right now if i keep my voltage up. Im working with mechman on getting an avbm2 shortly so that will be a non issue.
