Alt help ASAP

Recommended Posts

So essentially my sisters alt just shit the bed and instead of her paying 270 and 170 for labor to archaic I wanna put in a high output. I needs brands to call haha email is to slow as she needs one ordered ASAP... I personally have a singer and already have a quote but figured I'd try out some thing else.

And also what size should I get? Right not stock everyone, big 2 and 3 when I do the alt lol. Prob gonna get a yellow top or something and if she can afford it then an XS. Running an Xcon 15 off a Nendo 2k and a Rockford punch 400-4. Cca 1/0 and 4 gauge to amps.

Car is 97 mazda 626 Es v6 manual

So far on my list I've got

Singer

Mechman

Dc

Ohio gen

Tenney

Any others I can call?

x2 on Excessive Amperage. Great customer service. Moved my alt to the front of the line so I could receive it in time for my birthday.

IMO DC, EA, or Mechman. The ohio gen and singer alts I've seen didn't put out rated. And tenney is just too new, so unless you are willing to spend the money do experiment, I'd go with something tried and true.

For 2k and a 4 channel, anything 180+ should more than suffice
