I bought the car last Wednesday for $800 and spent the whole rest of the week and weekend on it, rushing to make it to the Import Face Off competition, April 14th. The car was bought strictly for a bass vehicle. The box is 14 cubes, tuned to 38hz. I done all of this on 1 battery and a 90A alt. I have a 300A Mechman ready to go on with batts. It did a 152.4 at 38hz. Wednesday and Thursday are my next days off, but here are some pics of what I've done so far.. Bare with me, it's not pretty and it's the 2nd box I've ever built! The subs are 2 AA Mayhem 18" D1's, on an RD Audio D9 and 2 runs of 0 gauge. Hopefully this week I'll get the Mechman alt in, batteries, cleaned up the wall a bit, and some door speakers. I think I would have done alot better if my electrical was up to par. Even on a burp, I had HARD voltage drop. I'd be happy with a 153+ when I get my batts and alt in, but we will see. *Rebuid in progress*

CJSmith Posted May 5, 2013 Author Report Posted May 5, 2013 Ok some updates. We stripped everything out and started all over. We bedlined the roof, floor, fender wells, windows, and doors. All the back and side windows have been sealed shut and the doors, fender wells, etc. have been expanding foamed and are solid. Also mounted stripper pole. Here's some pics. Here's my fiberflassed doors I started at a friends house. Don't hate, it's my first time glassing. They're not finished yet. They'll hold 4 6.5's each. We've already started on the dash and will soon start the new box. The dash will have a 19" tv fiberglassed in the dash. I'll post more pics later. We're building a 6th order for 2 Mayhem 18's on 2 RD D9's @ .5 each. I will post up pics of the dual alts and wiring and everything as it comes along. This build will drag out over a month or so but let me know what you all think. *Rebuid in progress*

I took 1st, which I didn't think was bad for no tuning, 90A alt, and 1 battery without big 3 upgrade. I just threw it in the day before in time for the show. That's why I'm rebuilding it all.
