1998 Ford Explorer Sport C/B Pillar Wall

Seems short, 18s wont fit then unless you staggered them or something. Then that takes away width for the port

Assuming you are doing a driver or passenger side port

Was going to do a drivers port slot port style

2dr Explorer C Pillar wall? Eh, I use to have a 2dr Explorer, not a whole lotta room for a C Pillar wall from what I can remember. I'll keep my eye on this though, I miss my 2dr!

I was going to say, with amps, and batts Cpillar with 4 18s is slim to no odds of success....wish you luck if your dead set on doing it, but personally knowing you have the 2door I would say fuck it and Bpillar it anyways, that way your not pressed for space to fit the enclosure/amps/batts...

I will surely keep an eye on this build, the Scion came together quite nice, so I would think whatever direction you go with this has potential to be quite impressive!

Thanks man, ill figure it out. I need 16 cubes net so 20 cubes gross then the rest is batts and amps. I'm the only one who could squeez 4k in a scion and 2 12's ported with the seat and trunk still in Tact!

I think if u did 15's ud have alot more space and would be easyer to plan for batts and amps

My cargo area is def bigger. The cargo is stripped though no unnecessary panels lol. If you do go with a C pillar dump the back seats and do amps and batts there. No way in hell everything is staying in the cargo unless you use small foot print amps under the seats with bass amps on that back of the box. Then you still don't have batts, my build starts this summer no wall 4 15's 15K on the first try. Need to finish the civic first though.

I dont mean to be a downer, but there just isn't enough room bro. I have a 97 sport and have planned to do a c pillar but with batts and everything the space just isn't there. In a 4 door you could wall 4 15s no problem.

Check my build log, I've got 4 15s b pillar with plenty of space in back and it gets nasty
