KiKaZz74
So my dad won a new black and decker rp250 variable speed plunge router in a raffle. Since he won't use it he gave it to me. Just looking for some tips, reviews, accessories, and ideas. Like what are some bits to grab? Roundover, a fancy one for trim for my moms stuff probably. How about a bearing one for like paterns and plunging and trimming holes? Also wtf is a spiral up/down cut bit called. Never see them in stores so I'm clueless. What are some other ones? Its got a vacuum attachment so I can do upcut. But here it is. Clear base, chipgaurd, straight line guide. Any help is appreciated guys. Thank you. Cody C. KiKaZz74
Also what is a good jasper jig to go up to like 18"? Not looking to spend much on that or I'd go a toolmaker one. Like $30 $40 for one. And what brand bits should I look at? KiKaZz74
Oh. Didnt realize that. Any good brands to recommend for jig or bits? 1/2" roundover probably, what size up or downcut? And is that what the bit is actually called? And the flush trim is the bearing one? Sorry I'm new to routers. And btw. Is this a good router? KiKaZz74
Picked up some bits today and a blade for my saws. Got 3 bosch bits- 1/2" roundover, 1/4"x1" upcut, & a 1/2"x1" flush trim bit. Also picked up a 3pack of blades for my saws. 2 40tooth blades and a 60tooth. I think this will be good for now.
